Trailer Readiness
To provide annual FHWA's and to provide customers critical information regarding the condition of their trailers, STTC offers mobile trailer maintenance services. Our goal is to identify and repair conditions to increase your vehicle utilization while reducing downtime and DOT violations.
The inspection process is based on the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and can provide the following services:
- Record FHWA/PA State Inspection Date
- Verify registration and insurance cards
- Record Hubodometer reading
- Illuminate and inspect all lights
- Inspect and record push rod lengths (slack adjuster)
- Inspect and record brake drum(s) condition
- Inspect and record brake lining thickness
- Inspect and record tire tread depth and air pressure
- Inspect physical condition of trailer exterior
Besides providing the annual FHWA inspection, STTC's certified technicians can repair most conditions such as brakes and brake chamber, lights, wheel seals, lubrication, tires, wheels, and most other general repairs. STTC Trailer Readiness program offers an alternative to truck stops or long interval maintenance services and provides the advantage of dealing with a single supplier for their tire and maintenance needs.
