MSHA

The U.S. Department of Labor, Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) regulates safety requirements for all personnel who enter mines and quarries in the U.S.  Contractors are not allowed to enter mines or quarries unless they are trained in accordance with MSHA regulations.

To best service our customers, STTC’s Service Trainer is qualified to issue MSHA certifications.  Before a STTC technician can work in a mine or quarry site they receive an annual MSHA Certification in accordance with federal guidelines.  Technicians are required to carry his/her certification with them when on quarry or mine properties.
