Cooper Tire & Rubber Company has determined that a small percentage of certain Roadmaster RM120 255/70R22.5 tires sold by Cooper are not performing up to our standards and in some cases, the tread may separate from the tire casing possibly resulting in body damage to the vehicle. These tires conform to all safety standards; however, in an abundance of caution and with our relentless dedication to customer satisfaction, we would like to replaces these tires at no charge to you. The tires involved in this campaign program are:
Roadmaster RM120
Size: 255/70R22.5 16 PR
Tire Identification Numbers: 4Y55LAJ 1607 thru 4Y55LAJ 3407
You are receiving this letter because our records indicate that you have purchased tires that may be the subject of this customer satisfaction campaign.
As part of our continuing commitment to safety and customer satisfaction, Cooper is conducting this campaign to replace the subject tire(s). Any Roadmaster dealer will replace the covered tires with new Roadmaster RM120 tires, and mount and balance the replacements, all at no charge or expense to you.
If you have any questions about whether your tires are covered by this customer satisfaction campaign, contact Cooper’s Consumer Relations Department at (800) 854-6288. Replacement tires are readily available. In the unlikely event that replacement tires are not available at the store you have contacted, tires will be ordered for you, and you will be notified when your replacement tires are available.
Cooper strongly recommends that you act as soon as possible to replace your tires if they are covered by this customer satisfaction campaign. This campaign will expire on March 31, 2008.
