About Us - Insurance

Insurance

Services - Does your Tire Vendor perform all of your tire services directly for you such as Night Road Service OR do they “farm it out to independents”?  If so, does the Independent service supplier have adequate liability insurance if there is a failure related to their services?  Does the Independent follow all OSHA guidelines for servicing tires?  Does the Independent certify that their employees are trained according to Tire Industry Association guidelines?

Retreads - Does your tire vendor Retread your tires or are they sent to a 3rd party?  If so, does the Retread Manufacturer have adequate liability insurance if there is a retread failure that causes harm or damage?

New Tires - Does your Tire Vendor supply you with “no-name foreign” tires?  If so, does the manufacturer have a physical presence in the U.S.?  Does the manufacturer carry sufficient insurance in the event of a catastrophic tire failure or a product recall?  If not, there will no one to sue but you and the Tire Vendor in the event of a catastrophe.

Who pays the claim if faulty service work, faulty retreads, or new tire failure causes physical or bodily harm?  A vehicle accident caused by any of these possibilities could cost millions of dollars and ultimately your company or someone’s life.

At STTC we only sell major brand new tires  (Goodyear, Bridgestone, Michelin, and Cooper), our technicians are TIA Certified, we manufacture our own retreads using the highest quality process (Michelin), we adhere to all OSHA guidelines, and we have high levels of liability insurance to protect you and STTC.  Why risk the safety of your employees and ultimately the future of your business by taking risks such as these.  STTC is committed to providing the highest quality services and products so you can spend your time managing your business.
